📝 Ingredients:

For the Cupcakes:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • ½ cup milk (whole or 2%)

  • Optional: Pink or lavender food coloring for a fairy-like hue

For the Frosting:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • 3–4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)

  • 2–3 tbsp milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pastel food coloring (pink, lilac, mint, or blue)

  • Edible glitter or sprinkles

  • Mini flowers, butterflies, or star decorations (optional)

🧁 Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with pastel or fairy-themed cupcake liners.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3: Cream Butter & Sugar

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.

Step 4: Combine & Color

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth. Add a drop or two of food coloring for a magical pastel touch.

Step 5: Fill & Bake

Divide the batter evenly among cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting.

🌸 Frosting & Decorating:

  1. Beat softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Adjust consistency as needed.

  2. Divide frosting into bowls and tint with pastel food coloring.

  3. Pipe swirls onto cooled cupcakes using a star or round tip.

  4. Sprinkle with edible glitter, sugar pearls, or fairy sprinkles.

  5. Top with tiny fondant butterflies, flowers, or mini fairy figurines if desired!
